Randall and Matt began working on the R-PAd in 2004. They each purchased Aeron chairs for back issues and each worked long hours at their computers. Matt created the first R-PAD prototype out of clay. Together they created versions out of lucite, aluminum, and eventually recycled plastic. In 2007, they patented the R-PAD.

We are building prototypes of future products. Our first shared patent, the R-PAD, is available for purchase on this website. Another product will come out later this year, followed by accessories and custom options.
